Who We Are
Meet Brian and Rick, the partners of Rumberger & Fettis Accounting LLP!
Brian Rumberger
CPA, CA, Partner
Born and raised in Northeastern Saskatchewan, Brian earned his Bachelor of Hotel & Resort Management from the University of Calgary before obtaining a Chartered Accountant designation in 2009. After a successful period of tax and assurance work in Swift Current-–during which he became well-versed in farm accounting and estate planning-–he opened a practice in Melfort. In 2012 Rick Fettis joined as a partner, and Rumberger & Fettis Accounting LLP was launched. Brian is passionate about helping clients learn about legislation that puts cash back in their hands, and he’s determined to help local businesses become even more successful. In his spare time, he coaches youth hockey, baseball and soccer, and enjoys golfing, curling, and playing baseball.
Rick Fettis
CPA, CGA, Partner
After growing up in Nipawin, where he played hockey for the Minor Hawks, Rick graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from the DeVry Institute of Technology before setting off for Silicon Valley, where he worked as an applications and test engineer. In 2007 he and his wife Myrna returned to Saskatchewan to raise their family, and in 2010 he attained his Certified General Accountant designation. A member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors, Rick has particular expertise in helping farm families and businesses realize success. Back in Nipawin, he’s excited to reconnect with old friends and forge new relationships in a community he loves.
